Pokémon Higher or Lower: Tips to Build a Winning Streak
Pokémon Higher or Lower shows you two Pokémon side by side and asks whether the hidden one scores higher or lower on the stat in play, which rotates every round through the base stat block, height and weight. You get one run a day and one spare life to absorb a single miss — here is how to make that run a long one.

Each round shows two Pokémon. One value is revealed; the other is hidden. Decide whether the hidden value is higher or lower and your streak grows by one. The stat being compared is always named on screen — read it before you commit, because it changes every single round.
The contenders are species from the National Pokédex, and the stat rotates one per round through Base Stat Total, Speed, Attack, Defense, HP, Height and Weight. Special Attack and Special Defense are deliberately left out — they behave too much like Attack and Defense to be an interesting guess.
The game never deals you two Pokémon that tie on the active stat, so there is always a right answer, and there is no timer, so take the time to read both cards.
One Run a Day and a Spare Life
Higher or Lower is a daily. You get one run each day, your best run of the day is the one that is kept, and only your first submission takes a place on the daily leaderboard.
You also get one spare life a day. The first time you miss, the game stops and spends it: the run carries on from the same score with a fresh challenger. Once the life is gone, the next miss ends the run. Both the run and the life come back at midnight.
That changes how to play the early rounds. While the life is in hand a coin-flip call can only cost you the life; once it is spent every round is sudden death. If you are going to take a risk, take it before your first miss, not after it.
Reading the Stat Rotation
The stat changes underneath you. A species that wins comfortably on Base Stat Total can lose the very next round on Speed — Slaking versus Ninjask swings completely depending on which of the two is being asked. Read the label first, every round.
Speed is where most streaks die. The fully evolved bruisers that dominate the Base Stat Total rounds tend to be slow, and small unevolved Pokémon are frequently faster than they look. Height and Weight have the same trap in reverse: a Legendary is not automatically the larger of the two, and Weight in particular is dominated by a handful of extremely dense species rather than by overall power.
When you genuinely do not know a species, fall back on evolution stage. A fully evolved Pokémon beats a first-stage one on Base Stat Total, HP, Attack and Defense far more often than not — it is only Speed, Height and Weight where that shortcut stops being reliable.
Streak-Building Mindset
Confidence matters more than knowledge at high streaks. When you genuinely cannot separate two contenders, pick the direction that feels marginally more likely and commit. Hesitation leads to second-guessing, which leads to changing a correct answer into a wrong one — one of the most common ways long runs end.
Track your personal blind spots. If the Speed rounds keep ending your runs, spend some time on the Pokédex pages for the fast frail species; if Weight trips you up, look at the handful of unusually dense Pokémon that dominate it. The leaderboard rewards consistent knowledge, not lucky guesses.
